Tarryn Macon has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2017. She worked as a camp counselor for children with developmental disabilities for two years in San Luis Obispo, CA while obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Child Development from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in 2017. She then moved to Sacramento in 2017, where she started as an in-home and school behavior technician, providing ABA services to children on the autism spectrum. She then became a training coordinator for staff to teach the fundamentals of ABA and how to implement it with clients, as well as a lead technician, training new hires. She then was a midlevel supervisor where she provided supervision and programming for clients and staff. In December 2020, Tarryn graduated from National University with a Master’s in ABA and became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in June 2021.
Tarryn became a part of the Teach, Acquire, Thrive team in October 2021. She loved the quality and ethical standards that Jenna Morgan has created for the company and its clients, as well as the team collaborative atmosphere. Her specialties include early intervention, functional behavioral assessments, staff training, and implementation of interventions across different ages.
In her spare time, Tarryn enjoys traveling and her two dogs. She also loves to interact and learn from others.
